Parent workday – Saturday August 15th
August 23 - Giant Rummage Sale at school to raise money for arts and culture.
August 31 – First day of school
Aug. 31-Sept. 4 Back to School Camping Trip at Pamplin Grove (Van Duzen Park) for middle and high school. $25.00 cost per student
Sept. 7 – Labor Day, no school
Sept. 23 – Back To School Night and Community Meeting. Snapgrades training. Student performance.
Oct. 3 (Saturday Night) – Fundraiser! Dinner Dance (BBQ) with salsa band Ponche! at Portuguese Hall. Raising money for our arts and culture program AND to build schools in Africa. Tickets $20.00
Oct. 5-9 Middle school and high school students travel to Ashland to see plays! Camping at Glenyan Campground in Ashland $75.00 cost per student
Oct. 10-11 - Fundraiser! Festival of Courage. We have a booth selling swords and shields at the local Renaissance Faire to raise money for arts and culture.
Nov. 11 – Veteran’s Day, no school.
Nov. 23-27 Thanksgiving Break, no school.
*Dec. 11 – Whole School Feast and Community Meeting. Student performance, and storytelling by the Chamber Readers Donation jar for food and performance.
Dec.21 – Jan. 3 Winter Break, no school.
Jan. 14 – Community Meeting - Gearing up for the new semester! $200 due for spring trips
*Jan. 16-17 Staff Retreat
Jan. 18 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, no school.
Feb. 15-19 President’s Week, no school
Feb. 24-27 Middle School Performance of Twelfth Night
*March 22 – Whole School Feast and Community Meeting. Student performance, and storytelling by the Chamber Readers. Donation jar for food and performance.
Apr. 5-9 Spring Break, no school
*May 26-29 High School Play
May 31 – Memorial Day, no school
June 4 –June 11 Middle school and high school spring trip $350 Cost per student
June 17 – Last Day of School -Picnic at Redwood Park
June 18 - Graduation and end-of-school party at the Beach House on Moonstone Beach.
